This project was done as a part of coursework in my second year (3rd semester) at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India.
The aim of this project was to replicate an existing product using various processes such as Turning, Milling, Vaccum forming etc. in a scaled up version as a part of our workshop skills course.
The product I chose is a Maped compass and I scaled it up in a 2:1 ratio. Its a working prototype and works like the original compass, all with an inbuilt lead dispenser as well.
